Delivery

Postage and packaging is applied on a per order basis, no matter how many items ordered, and will be automatically added to your shopping basket.  You will only be charged once, even if your order is delivered in several stages.  Orders containing both seed and non-seed items will be subject to a charge of £2.70 for the seeds, plus the appropriate charge for the non-seed item(s).

Postage and packaging is automatically calculated when items are added to your shopping basket, as follows:

Orders for Packet Seed
Postage and packaging is £2.70p per order no matter how big your order.

Orders containing non-seed items
Non-seed items normally have a single £7.50 postage and packaging charge per order no matter how many items are ordered.

Overseas Orders
We only delivery items to England, Scotland and Wales.

How long will my order take to deliver?
Delivery will usually arrive within 3-5 days of receiving your successful payment.  During peak season (Jan-Mar & Sep-Oct) this may take up to 7-10 days.

We only despatch to UK mainland

We are unable to dispatch outside of mainland UK. 

If you have already placed your order we can dispatch this to an alternative address in the UK if you are able to supply this.  Alternatively we will cancel and refund your order for you.

Plant Returns Policy

Our guarantee
We guarantee only to send you top quality plants and products and will inspect everything carefully before it leaves us. 

We also do our utmost to package and protect everything, so that it doesn't get damaged on its way.

You can return anything you're not happy with within 28 days of receiving it provided you have contacted us within 7 days of receipt to advise of its return.

Returns should not be used and should be of resalable condition. 

Incorrect goods
If we sent you something you hadn't ordered please contact us within 7 days informing us of the problem.

You can return it within 28 working days unused and in its original packaging for a full refund.

Damaged or defective goods plants
If you receive a plant that is in poor condition when you take it out of the box please contact us immediately.

Bear in mind that plants look different depending on what time of year it is.

If you choose a nice leafy-looking deciduous shrub in the winter, remember it's going to turn up pretty bare.

It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it, just that it's out of season and it will perk up when the weather does.

Perennial plants won't even show above the soil level in a pot during the winter, but that doesn't mean you've been sent a pot of soil.

How to make a return
Please contact us with your order number on 01638 583729, or e-mail quoting your order number.

Please note that we will not replace any plant that has died of dehydration during the 28 days in your possession.

We will not pay the costs of returning an item to us.

Until we receive the goods you are returning, they are your responsibility.  For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend you use a recorded delivery service to return things.

To get a full refund, simply return the unused item to us in its original condition, in its original packaging within 28 days.

If the item has been damaged, used or is not returned in its original packaging, we reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value if the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.

Other Returns

If for any reason you are not delighted with your purchase, you can return it unopened, unused and in the original packaging within 21 days for a full refund or replacement.  Your statutory rights will not be affected.

Please contact

We recommend that you return the goods in appropriate packaging, use a 'signed for' delivery method and obtain proof of postage.  Please do not destroy or dispose of any product before you have spoken with us (even if, for example your product has been damaged in the post)

Once we have received the returned goods, we will process a refund of your order payment within 7 days at the very latest, subject to compliance with the returns policy.
