A selection of high colour Prairie Wildflowers that are found naturally in the North American Prairies. Including a large amount of Coneflowers and other suitable flowers with long flowering periods.
The American Prairie mix is resilient to drought, flooding, high and low temperatures, grazing, fires and can withstand invasive species taking over.
Flowers included are suitable to UK sowings and will do especially well on normal/dry soils.
Natural Prairies include grasses, to get a true prairies feel you might want to add a few grasses to your mix.
Includes high colour Annuals, Perennials and biennials which gives colour in the first year and beyond. You can let the seeds drop naturally for a year on year display, or collect the seeds when the plant is ready to naturally drop them and sow again for following years display.

Wilding - let the flowers do their own thing and they will drop their seeds naturally and reappear in the following year if conditions are right.
Herbaceous Borders - thin out to 30cm intervals and keep the bed free of weeds until the plants have become established. Collect seeds once they are ready to harvest to sow again in the following season.
